Welcome to John Halvey Classical Guitar

    Originally trained in pop guitar, John studied Classic Guitar with Sal Raia. Richard Provost, Dan Hecht, Thomas  Geoghegan and graduated from UVM with a Bachelor of FA degree in 1989. 

 John performed at Trapp Lodge from '83-'86 and with the VSO Chamber Music from 1992-2014.  John teaches at Monteverdi School in Montpelier.
